Semi-automatic Mosaicking Method of Digital Image

This paper discribes a practical semi automatic mosaicking method of digital image.This method is simple and effective.At first, it registrates neighbouring images in geometric with several initial control points by a correlation searching approach. The registration accuracy in about up to 1 pixel. Secondly, it uses a 2 dimentional seam point searching approach to find the best “seam” point and than eliminate them. In application, this method could improve the performance of processing system by saving much mosaicking time with semi automatic processing.
