A new BICM Turbo equalization by multi-level modulations

Turbo equalization combined equalization with decoder,improved the equalization,but which used soft-in-soft-out equalizer and decoder which were too complexity when the system used multi-level modulations over the complex channel.Proposed bit-interleaved coded modulation(BICM)with improved minimum mean square error decision feedback equalizer(MMSE-DFE)to accomplish Turbo equalization,made the complexity much lower and had the characteristic of simple structure,less compution,strong expansibility and can be implemented easily in project.Simulation results show that the proposed method obtained better performance.
