Image Analysis of Stickies and Dirt Count in Recycled Pulp

This paper introduced the theory of image analysis of stickies and dirt in recycled pulp,the characteristic of the software for image analysis was presented. The statistic results of the particles were indicated by grayscale value and the content of stickies and dirt count were quantified based on the particle's size and area which can be used to evaluate the quality of the pulp from waste paper.
