A novel method based on spatio-temporal slice is proposed to extract playing shots for racket sports video. The method divides video spatio-temporal slice into frames, and uses methods including clustering, merging, boundary detection and projection to obtain playing shots.Experiments demonstrate that the method is accurate and robust.
