The grouping machine,consisting of PLC and PC and other components,im plements two-level control while the supervisory computer uses Winnt4.0OS(Chines e version)and Visual C++6 0 as multi-thread programming tool. The sixty-four-do l lar questions during empoldering the grouping machine,how to get the measure d ata rapidly and accurately,how to communicate accurately between PC and PLC in r eal time, is taken apart in this paper. The machine has been running for over tw o months with good efficiency.
