Research Status of Power Grid Situation Awareness Technology in China and Abroad

This paper introduces the conceptual origin of Situation Awareness and its application status in varies areas,analyzes and summarizes the related research and practice in foreign power systems,as well as the relevant research programs in the field of power grid in China. Particularly,it emphasizes the important effects of the visualization,early-warning and decision supporting in the Situation Awareness technology on the smart grid construction and safe and steady power grid operation.
