Design and Realization of Urban Public Traffic Inquiry System

Based on the necessity of urban public traffic inquiry system,this article studies the design of the system based on component GIS,discusses the realization project of the public traffic inquiry system aiming at the least times of bus transfer.The system chooses MapObjects to be component of GIS secondary component,current program language ─ Visual Basic 6.0 as develop tool,Microsoft Access 2000 as background database,developed urban road and traffic inquiry system.It realized basic skills of GIS software such as zoom in,zoom out and ramble,and special search skills,namely,way of bus transfer and search of place names.
