The Lexical Knowledge Base of Modern Chinese Based on HNC Theory

The lexical knowledge base of modern Chinese based on HNC Theory is an important part of HNC knowledge system for natural language understanding. The Base presents conceptual,sentence-related and situational knowledge of words while centering on sentence category knowledge. With much effort of thirteen years,this base has become an important one housing more than 80,000 Chinese words,which is useful for Chinese information processing,Chinese learning and teaching as well as linguistic studies.
