A study of culture conditions for several mixed strains of rhodopseudomonas

Based on the experiments of three kinds of mixed strains of Rhodopseudomonas, different combinations of the carbon source, nitrogen source, pH value and the growth temperature were cultured. The results showed that the CH_(3)-COONa is the most suitable carbon source among the tsted carbon sources, with the (NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4) being the most suitable mineral nitrogen source among the five tested and the most suitable pH value being pH 8.5 and the most suitable growth temperature being 38℃.
