Research on fast-forward and fast-backward playback method of TS stream

In the field of multimedia applications of computer technology,MPEG-2 TS streams are widely used.In this paper,based on statistical analysis of the adjacent I-frames interval in TS stream,put forward an approach by jump a fixed step and then search for I-frame to the achievement of TS stream files fast-forward /fast-backward playback.The method is simple and efficient,easy to implement,has been successfully applied to the actual hard disk player products,to achieve good results in practice.
