With the Development of space communication system,CCSDS recommendation has gradually become the standard of space communication.Especially after the proposal of the red book IP over CCSDS Space Links,IP has become the standard upper application of space communication system.A design and implementation method of TCP performance enhancement proxy(PEP)is proposed, the network architecture is given based on the PEP,and the main technology of PEP is introduced. The proposed method is simulated and validated with OPNET.Simulation result shows that this technology can greatly improve the transmission efficiency when TCP is applied in space communication, with fairness achieved when the bandwidth is shared among multi-connections.
