Researches on Multiple Traffic Scheduling based on IEEE802.16e

In IEEE802.16e,the scheduling algorithms for guaranteeing the quality of service (QoS) have always been a focus for reseach.It involves the scheduling services,ranging from one service type to multiple service type.The support to multi-class traffic is an important technique for ensuring the system performance.For the two strategies of layered scheduling and joint scheduling used in multi-class traffic,simulation analyses and performance comparisons are carried out from system throughput,QoS and fairness.The simulation results indicate that the overall performance of the joint scheduling is better.
