A new approach to IR image enhancement

This paper describ es a new approach to IR image enhancement, which operates a gray-value transfor m in terms of a bi-threshold segmentation. The pixels of an image will be segme nted to three sections, named high section, middle section and low section. For the best result of vision, different transforms will be taken for different sect ions. The experimental result is given in detail.
