The Influence of System Response Time on Human-information System Interaction Efficiency

In order to explore optimal system response time(SRT) which make human-information system(H-IS) interaction efficiency reach tiptop,this study researches the action mechanism and influence of SRT ﹑school age and gender on H-IS interaction efficiency through experiment of 12 SRT with special experimental software developed.ANOVA results showed that both SRT and school age variability had remarkable difference in interaction efficiency,time used by human and errors in the course of completing task;but gender variability had no remarkable difference in the three facts.there was a optimal SRT area(0.25～0.75s) which make interaction efficiency reach tiptop.
