Study and Achievement on a Facial Recognition- Based Intelligent System

With studies of facial detection, features extraction, and facial recognition in images of single front face, an improved method of facial detection, in which the facial template is combined with the features, is put to effect in this thesis. In this thesis, a sketch is presented with three main steps in the research: face detection and normalization, feature extraction, classifier design. And a demonstration project for face recognition is built.
