Overview of Fault Diagnosability Evaluation and Design

The necessity of the fault diagnosability evaluation and design as well as the related definition is addressed.A brief summary of the general developments in fault diagnosability evaluation covering the quantitative-based and the qualitative-based methods are proposed,including the main idea,characteristic and the field of application.Meanwhile,some quantitative criteria are given.Then,the fault diagnosability design are introduced from some aspects,such as based on the optimization problem,the fault propagation relationship,variable constraint relationship and the fault-related data.Finally,the perspective of the fault diagnosability evaluation and design are predicated.
