Application of Information-Management System in the Luanhe River Irrigation Area

For the problems of the irrigation area in the downstream of Luanhe river,such as old equipments,and backward management,according to the principles,such as economic,practication,steady operation,advance technologies,updating,and so on,the informational management system of the downstream irrigation area authority of Luanhe river was designed.This information system mainly had three functions including automatic gathering information,automatic control,and intelligent scheduling.The progressive realization of the information managcment functions,water-saving achived good results,and blazed a new path for the sustainable development of irrigation,and realized these functions,such as automatically gathering data,remote control of sluice gate's opening and closing,long distance monitoring,charging by intelligence card.After applying this management system in this irrigation area,the good results were achieved,it is a reference for automatic reformation of other irrigation area in China.
