Handheld GPS Positioning Accuracy and Error

Huanling Liu · Gnss World of China · 2011

The stability of handheld GPS positioning is discussed in two models: absolute and relative positioning.A reasonable observation time is long is drew.Throwgh different time comparative analysis of observational data can be obtained, real time positiony and long term observation of the difference between the values of 1 meter.Handleld GPS absolute positioning accuracy of the measurement results to its actual location can be controlled with the range of submeter level. While in multisatellite environment realtime positioning accuracy can be controlled within the range of submeter level, and accuracy of PPP system error correction model to eliminate or reduce some of the errors can reach half a meter or more.
