This paper evaluates the effect of the adjacent interference between CDMA and WCDMA system.A useful model is presented which uses the receiver sensitive deterioration as the key parameter to evaluate the system interference.Based on the interference analysis, the system isolation value is counted. Then the paper presents measured performance and interference data forCDMA and WCDMA in a co-site(co-located) outdoor environment. The simulating results demontrate the efficiency of the interference analysis model and show that, with proper isolation and careful planning, both systems can co-exist in a co-site environment. In addition,This interference model could be applied to coexist analysis other 2G and WCDMA systems.
