Disponse of a regular path expression during the query rewriting

With the mature development of database technology,the problem of how to use the existing relational database engine to achieve the release of XML has important significance.In this paper,according to the main problem of how to convert the regular path expression to the system of publishing process,we present an effective method and introduce the concept of extract path expression,which achieves the transformation from the regular path expression to the expression of SQL.This method can achieve the query rewriting of XQuery to SQL query.
