Study to the Security of XML Data

With the wide application of XML, especially the application in the E-commerce field, the security of XML data has been a focus that many people care to. On the base of the analysis of XML technology and application, this paper studies the security requirements and several kinds of security technologies related to XML. At last, the XML encryption technology is discussed in detail and various types of XML encryption: encrypting a complete XML file, an element of an XML file, or the contents of an XML element were demonstrated with an example.
