Research and Implement on Generating Test Case from UML Model

Automated test case generation is the basis and key of automated software testing.With the widely used of UML, automated test case generation based on UML model increasingly being attended.UML sequence diagram describes the dynamic behaviors of a software system, which becomes a value information source in integration test.This paper proposes an approach to combine UML sequence diagram and class diagram in order to generate test cases, defining the criteria of test coverage.We validate the process of generating test cases using an example.Finally, we present the frame of generating test cases.
