A flexible distributed weighted clustering algorithm in mobile Ad hoc networks

The hierarchical structure from applying clustering algorithm can improve the overall performance of mobile Ad hoc networks.This paper presents a flexible distributed weighted clustering algorithm based on previous research.The choice of cluster head is based on the weighted amount of node mobility,minimum average emissive power,node degree and rest battery energy.It describes the algorithm,construction and maintenance procedure of clustering in detail.The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is more stable and load-balanced than the previous ones.
