Design and Realization of Hydrological Information Inquiry System from Web GIS

Taking hydrological information inquiry system in Fujian province as examples, the construction of hydrological information inquiry system on the basis of Web GIS is discussed. The author introduces selection of WebGIS platform, system structure design, system development plan deploy, system data organizaton, realization of system functions. The construction has enhanced working efficiency and raised the scientific and technological level of hydrological and flood control departments, in addition, it also promotes the hydrological informatization construction in Fujian province and promotion application of Web GIS.
