Research on noise prediction of wind turbine based on multiple linear regression analysis

A novel measurement and analysis method of noise emission assessments and verifications were investigated for IEC 61400-11 wind turbine generator system.Because the noise measurement process of wind turbine is complex and easily interfered by external environment,a method based on multiple linear regression analysis for the noise prediction was proposed.With the parameters easily to be measured,a least square regression equation was constructed.Using the regression coefficients of the model,a model for predicting the noise of wind turbine was established.The test results show that the model is applicable for practical applications.
