An Engineering Database System Realized with C REDVDBS

n this paper,an engineering database system REDVDBS realized with C is introduced. The database management subsystem is specially designed for. REDV(Reservoir Deschption Visulization Systems), which is developed by us and used to manage three type of data(basic data, parameters and object data)in. this system. The purpose of developing the susystem is aimed impedance mistnatch between commercial relation database and program language as well as' REDV's independent copyrights. The subsystem structure ,function, feature and management of variable-length record file are introduced.
