Research on General NoC Multiprocessor System

Researches on Network-on-Chip(NoC) multi-processor system have seen advancements in nearly orthogonal tracks with HW system and SW technologies developed,but deficiencies in application+platform development have been observed.This paper presents the realization of a NoC multi-processor system based on real platform.An FPGA based general NoC architecture was implemented and two multimedia applications were mapped onto the system through multi-application mapping method,we implemented the reasonable combination of SW multi-application and HW NoC multi-processor system.
