Inquiring System of Geographic Information in Shanghai Based on MapObjects

Taking design and realization of the inquiring system of geographic information in Shanghai as an example,the paper discusses how to practice the secondary development of GIS using a developmental mode,which is combination of the GIS control with object-oriented programming language.The choice of developmental mode,the main structure and the design of database etc of building the system are illustrated,some function of the system and method of realization are briefly introduced as well in the paper.
