Cascade Technique of Multi-Type Filters About Realization of DDC

The theory of digital down conversion in software radio receiver is analyzed,and a scheme of realizing DDC based on cascade technique of multi-type filters is put forward.CIC(Cascaded Integrator-Comb) filters,HB(Half-Band) filters and plastic FIR filters are used to realize the decimation of DDC(Digital Down Conversion),the order of filters and the requirement of multiplicators and adders are reduced effectively.The performance demanding of DDC is accomplished efficiently.Finally,the feasibility and superiority of this technique are shown by comparing it with conventional method of FIR filtering.
