The Design and Selection of Chinese Distribution Organizations and Distribution Channels in the New Century

The author believes that the distribution channel can be seen as a whole while the distribution organization is a part of it.The distribution organization should bear various functions of transaction,and the design of distribution channel should adapt to the requirement of commodities distribution.In the design and selection of distribution organizations some principles should be followed:First,it should favor the improvement of the efficiency of commodities distribution,so as to lower the cost of distribution and rise the value shared by customers.Second,measures should be taken to accelerate the de-velopment of limited services,of wholesale organizations,of supermarkets,and of chain operation organizations.Third,steps should be taken to encourage exploring of distribution channels of new types,such as vertical channels,horizontal chan-nels,and multi-channels distributions.
