Xiao Hu · Computer and Modernization · 2003
Rough sets theory is a new mathematical tool to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty. As a soft computing method it affords intellective information processing useful tool.Rough sets theory applies to colour image filter, and algorithm of colour image filter based on rough sets theory is proposed in this paper.Experimental results show that the filter can preserve the edge detail of image very well when removing noise effectively.
