STUDY ON SST WITH GMS OBSERVATION AND THE METHOD OF ANALYSIS TECHNIQUE

The tests had been carried out by using GMS5 split window channels data and water vapor channel data, as well as ship and buoy observation data for SST retrieval and its objective analysis. Comparing three different SST retrieval methods, the method of using split window channels data and concerning weaken track ,and the method of using split window channels data and concerning water vapor channel data got higher precision. The quality control and objective analysis by using recursive filter method had good result, and tests showed that the analysis grid field was in good agreement with real observations.
