R-dense sampling density and its application in 3D mesh simplification

A new algorithm is presented to simplify massive meshes resulting from 3D scanners.The r-dense condition is used to descript various sampling density requirement.A sampling points set is proper when points are largely discarded without breaking the r-dense condition.A greedy algorithm is used to get a proper sampling points set and triangulate it to construct the simplified mesh.
