The Linux system provides a variety of mixed Interprocess Communication(Interprocess Communication,IPC) mechanisms, and there is no simple IPC judgment.Since when starting to develop some simple procedures to measure the performance for different kinds of Interprocess Communication. We obtained experimental data or charts through different measurement scales, such as bandwidth, latency, etc. That provides reasonable and correct basis for how to select a particular form of IPC based on these measurement data.We made comparative research on obsolete System V IPC and new Posix IPC.A large number of experimental results show that the Posix IPC mechanisms have good substitutability and effectiveness in terms of interface and performance.
