Analysis on Misreading of Chinese Idioms with Variant Pronunciations

Chinese idioms with variant pronunciations are easy to misread and there are several contributing factors,including particular pronunciations of proper nouns,interchangeability of ancient pronunciation,stylistic differences,uncustomary pronunciation of ancient words,pronunciation of ancient written words,simplification of Chinese characters.To eliminate these misreadings,two approaches can be adopted.One is to improve the intellectual level of the users and the other is to revise the approved standard of words with variant pronunciation,namely,Pronunciation Words-table of Mandarin.
