Some Summaries on Commuting Graphs of a Finite Groups

Let Gbe a finite non-abelian group.The commuting graphΓG of Gwith vertex set Gand two different vertices xand yare adjacent if and only if xy =yx.In this paper we investigate some properties of the commuting graphs of some finite non-abelian groups,and then we discuss the details about commuting graphs of the generalized quaternion groups.More specifically,we obtain the chromatic number and clique number of these commuting graphs.
