Study on Policy Management System for Network Convergence

Network convergence introduces more complexity to network management and control,and policy management and control is a key technology of the solution.The architectures of policy management systems(PMS) proposed before are of poor scalability,automation and adaptability.Based on the demand analysis of PMS for network convergence,a PMS framework employing SOA technology is proposed,which is applicable to heterogeneous technologies,various services and dynamic complex environments.Based on principal network convergence technologies such as NGN the policy system of network management and control is proposed.This PMS framework could fairly support the environment of network convergence.
