Three crucial questions in the process of control code auto-generation of tufting machine are well researched,including the storage format of pattern files,the color disposal of image,and the method of translating image to control code.The paper presents an improved K-means color separation method based on clustering analysis to process BMP image,and shows data organization method of processed BMP image.In the end,the paper explains how to generate the control code of tufting machine.
