Research on Determination Method of Co-occurrence Concepts in UMLS

The paper analyzes the basic situations of co-occurrence concepts in UMLS from the aspects of external data sources, statistical units,storage and record description,elaborates the characteristics from the aspects of co-occurrence type,co-occurrence property,the direction of co-occurrence concepts.Based on the above it discusses the determination method of co-occurrence concepts as well as their practical application.
