Hand-painted Arbitrary Waveform Generator Based on Virtual Instrument

A new type arbitrary waveform generator was designed by using the virtual instrument technology.By adopting Visual Basic to interface programming,the system implemented hand-painted waveform and recorded the waveform data on the upper computer,and carried on control and transmission of the low level USB data by Visual C++.The recorded waveform data was transmitted to C8051F320 through USB,transformed by the D/A electric circuit,finally carried out the waveform output.The experiments show that the arbitrary waveform generator can achieve the corresponding output of arbitrary hand-painted waveform.The system has flexible configuration and convenient operation.
