Application and Research of VPN Technology in University Library

This paper briefly describes the Virtual Private Network(VPN)principles and techniques.With the analysis of the technical characteristics of open visual private network(OpenVPN)and the consideration of the conditions of university library,this paper focuses on how to make use of OpenVPN to construct server for remote access to enable readers outside university to gain information from university library.
