A Novel Method for Blind Channel Estimation

Several methods for blind channel estimation,are studied,and a hypothesis on wireless channel,is proposed.Based on these,a novel method for blind channel estimation is described.The new algorithm is based on MMSE.In an m-ary system,the signal mode and its number (K = log2m) is known at both transmitting and receiving terminals,thus,the new algorithm can conveniently acquire the estimation of all channel model and signal pattern simultaneously.And then,the optimum estimation of channels and signals is obtained in accordance with the MMSE norms.Finally,the simulation result is given,which indicates that the new algorithm can blindly estimate the equivalent impact response of channels and signals,and guarantee the effective communications.
