A Strategies for Joint Source-channel Coding

In most communication systems, the source coding and channel coding are treated separately. But , it may be not a optimum system using an ad hoc method to combine the optimum source with channel coders in practical communication systems.So we raised a strategies for joint source channel coding:the coding is similar to DPCM prediction coding method, the decoding is similar to Viterbi decoding method. Under the Condition of high noise channel,the property is satisfactory using this method.
