Soft decision-directed modified constant modulus algorithm

A hybrid adaptive channel equalization technique for high-order quadrature amplitude modulation(QAM)signal was proposed.The proposed algorithm(MCMA+SDD)with the cost function that included both amplitude and phase of the equalizer output,the soft decision-directed(SDD)would operate concurrently,which would take place of PLL.Extensive simulation shows that it has a state equalization performance and a faster convergence speed as the concurrent CMA and SDD algorithm.
