Research of NAT Traversal Scheme based UDP in P2P Communication

The theory and the application of the NAT's technology in the present network environment is t introduced briefly in this text, and the influence of the NAT devices on P2P (Peer-to-Peer) communications is also analyzed. NAT-traversal technologies are expatiated such as ALG, Proxy, and UDP hole punching, and STUN protocol is studied deeply, then a new scheme based STUN protocol and the analysis of these technologies is advanced, which makes hosts located behind N A Ts basically realize the traversal in varieties of situations successfully.
