Direction and Task of Modern Plant Fiber Science Research

In this paper,the significance of modern plant fiber science research is stated.It is analysed detailly that the main research contents of the genetic improvement of plant fiber resources,the highly effective cultivation technology of fiber plants,biomass processing of bast fiber and engineering microbes.At last,the direction and task of modern plant fiber science research are proposed.
