Study on Address Autoconfiguration for Mobile Ad Hoc Network

Mobile Ad Hoc network is an infrastructure-free wireless network. This paper studies present representative solutions by analyzing performance properties,including uniqueness,robustness and scalability,and points out their merits and faults. Finally,an improved approach is proposed. Based on the simulation results,a conclusion is made that the approach is scalable to large scale mobile Ad Hoc networks.
