Study and Practice of Data Extraction Techniques Based on Oracle/Linux Environment

One of the core techniques for Data Warehouse is to build data market and to perform dada extraction across platforms.The key techniques to extract data across platform from the database of Oracle/Unix host system in three tiers' calculating architecture have been studied and described in this paper,and several optimizing strategies for the data extraction techniques and maintenance of data warehouse including update are presented.
