Research on Traffic Information Cloud Computing and Its Application

Cloud computing can provide traffic information almost unlimited and scalable computing ability with high-speed network to link up all kinds of computing power.Traffic information cloud computing is considered as a new concept for efficient information acquisition and service based on the analysis of the advantages,features,methods and deployment of traffic information cloud computing and it is essential for traffic behavior control.Taking the acquisition,transmission,calculation and application of vehicle GPS information,the existing floating car information processing method is compared with that of cloud computing.A method for cybernetic route guidance is proposed by cloud computing providing drivers high utility and closed-loop verifiable personalized route guidance information.
