Design and Application of Software Integration Service Model for Wind Farm Management

Jieqiong Zhu · Dianli xitong zidonghua · 2008

In the large-scale wind farm, wind turbines and monitoring control systems involved in more than one supplier end up with a number of incompatible systems. This causes operational difficulties and makes it hard to maintain and manage. Some aspect of IEC 61400-25 standard is followed in this paper, such as the information model, the information exchange model, and the method for mapping to Web services. A Web services based integrated service model for the wind farm monitoring is designed. The communication problems between heterogeneous wind turbines and servers are discussed in the model. Then the methods about how to define wind farm Web services interface and security communication are given out. Through engineering implementation and model analysis, it is demonstrated that the work in this paper could provide reference and experience to resolve some problems, such as unified monitoring of heterogeneous wind turbines and integration management.
